Hospital Care Overview
The hospital care team at Hattiesburg Clinic consists of physicians and providers who care for patients exclusively while they are in the hospital. They provide continuous care to hospitalized patients – monitoring their condition, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and adjusting treatment plans as needed. These physicians coordinate a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure that the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
